The district housing and urban rural development department entrusted a third-party professional organization to carry out surveying, mapping and filing of 10 historical buildings.
In order to strengthen the protection and utilization of historical buildings in the region, in May this year, based on the 15 representative buildings in Mopai, the district finally determined that the post office in Wuyi old street, the people’s Bank of China, the Sales Department of supply and marketing cooperatives, the warehouse of supply and marketing cooperatives, the outpatient department of the people’s Hospital, general stores, hotels, xinchunyuan Dumpling Noodle Shop, Cao huaibao small building Agricultural Bank of China and other 10 buildings were declared as the first batch of historical buildings in the region.
This has created a precedent for the protection of historical buildings in the area, marking that these 10 historical buildings have “orthodox identity” and “amulet” since then.

At the end of October, the Municipal People’s government announced the second batch of historical buildings in the city, and the 10 historical buildings declared in Nanqiao district were officially announced.
While doing a good job in the protection of historical buildings, it further explored the relationship between historical buildings and human history, accurately told the story of historical buildings, and made historical buildings truly activated and available.
