There are two kinds of inclinometer pipes: round and square

In China, round pipes are mostly used, with diameters of 50 mm and 70 mm

The bottom and top of the inclinometer pipe shall be sealed with covers to prevent mortar, mud and sundries from entering the hole

According to its working principle, inclinometer has servo acceleration type, resistance strain gauge type, differential capacitance type, steel string type and so on

Servo acceleration inclinometer and resistance strain gauge are commonly used

Servo acceleration inclinometer has higher accuracy and is widely used at present

The inclinometer has a pair of pulleys at the top and bottom, and the track distance is 500mm

.

Its working principle is to measure the inclination angle between the central axis of the instrument and the vertical line of the pendulum by using the nature that the gravity pendulum always maintains the vertical direction

.

The change of the inclination angle can be obtained by electric signal conversion, so that the displacement change value of the measured structure can be known

.

(3) operation points

① The embedded inclinometer pipe shall be vertical

.

If it is embedded in pile or diaphragm wall, the inclinometer pipe and reinforcement cage shall be tied tightly

.

② The inclinometer pipe has two pairs of directional grooves perpendicular to each other, one of which is perpendicular to the side line of the foundation pit

.

③ When measuring, the inclinometer must be basically consistent with the temperature in the pipe, and the indicator reading is stable before measuring

.

④ Since the inclinometer measures the relative displacement between two pulleys (500mm), it is necessary to select the fixed point in the inclinometer tube as the reference point

.

Generally, the end point at the bottom of the tube is the reference point

.

The actual displacement of each point is the accumulation of the relative displacement from the measuring point to the reference point

.

The inclinometer pipe shall be buried below the excavation face: the rock layer shall not be less than 1m, and the soil layer shall not be less than 4m
