The latest headquarters office building architectural design project

The design of the new building of the company headquarters is based on the architectural method of the existing buildings, but it is interpreted in a new modern form.

From the vantage point of the starting point of Berliner Strasse, you can enjoy the wonderful scenery of Heidelberg.

In addition, it also includes the entrance hall, restaurant, rest space, conference catering facilities, and social activity space.

The building is surrounded by development projects on lower floors and enjoys a magnificent view facing Malm ö and the Swedish Gulf, where Huiling Pharmaceutical was founded.

The overall design is based on three cubic buildings, which constitute the basic spatial layout form.

By cold bending each three layer glass panel, the eye-catching glass dome is finally created.

The mechanical and electrical facilities and the core tube of the building are integrated into the shape of the overhanging roof, which gives the building a smooth outline.

The six floors of the building are stacked outward step by step, and the overhanging ceiling extending from the roof further captures the surrounding scenery, creates a shaded space for each floor, and also creates a very dynamic atrium inside the building.

The interior and exterior gradually form a unit, forming a unified whole.

The light glass building seems to float on the sea, in sharp contrast to the thick base below.

The spacious internal atrium has a high wall that can see the Swedish seaside on the other side.

This new building is closely connected with the green space.

The subtle control of the rhythm makes the facade look lifelike, vividly interpreting the waves of the Neckar River at hand..

The space near the edge of the atrium can be flexibly used: employees can easily and effectively rearrange these spaces by moving seats and tables to different positions.

Driven by the site, the final form of the building is triangular and surrounded by water.

The height and spatial combination form of the building are moderately interlaced with the surrounding urban space to respond to the urban space.

The design team has always pursued the requirements of the owner for “excellent concrete”.

The offices and laboratories are mainly used for personal work that requires a quiet environment, so these spaces are located at the edge of the building to maximize the scenery and natural light.

The headquarters building has also become the prelude to the development of the adjacent area on the north bank of the Neckar River.

This order of space is also reflected in the architecture and landscape space inside the base, that is, through the ingenious combination of buildings and three courtyards, the whole base is in a harmonious and unified order.

The design here provides a place for up to 1000 employees to interact and communicate, and creates a multi-level and differentiated workspace, which extends to the outdoors.

The sunlight flows into the room through the dome and curtain wall, creating an exciting and open working environment.

The base design is rigid and flexible, with both solid street facade and flexible soft landscape to cope with the harsh marine environment.

As an important node in the space order, the central main line and communication area connecting the three cubes are ingeniously combined with the entrance hall and space streamline, which not only connects the space, but also increases the communication attribute of the whole building.

With the curved facade elements, the tree shaped supporting structure of the atrium and the ceiling of the gathering area, the building shows the diverse potential of concrete as a sustainable material.
