Characteristics of green building in China


By the end of 2019, China’s total green building area has exceeded 5 billion square meters, accounting for 65% of new urban buildings in 2019

According to the relevant action plan, by 2022, the proportion of green building area in new urban buildings will reach 70%

The award-winning projects include residential, office, hospital, school, commercial complex, exhibition hall, airport and other major building types, as well as new buildings and existing building renovation projects

China’s green building work started at the beginning of this century, about 30 years later than that of developed countries, but the development process is relatively rapid

Fourth, water saving effect is more obvious
