Design: Daniel Azerrad Architects.

The project is located in an inconspicuous area north of the port city of Ashdod. The Technology Center is a new initiative of the Ministry of Education aimed at revitalizing abandoned old schools through a new education program consisting of laboratories and seminars to promote research in various fields such as biotechnology, robotics, and sustainable energy. The program includes classrooms, offices, and multifunctional rooms, covering an area of 3000 square meters..

The laboratory and classroom face north, with soft lighting and all made of glass. The internal facade adopts UGLASS profile glass skin closed open corridor..

The new outer skin consists of two layers: the first layer is HPL skin, with colors ranging from white to gray and from warm yellow to red. The second layer is exposed concrete bristles, with an independent structure. The outer skin has depth, and when it encounters the sun, it creates a new dimension. Each floor has a specific color. Green is at the entrance, purple is on the first floor, and yellow is on the second floor, while the handrails lead people towards the corresponding colors..

The design has added two new features: vertical flow and air raid shelter. The elevator and shelter tower is located in the north and rear of the building, while the new emergency staircase is located at the entrance. The existing trees on site provide a structure for landscape design, which consists of benches under the shade of trees, floors connecting the external space and entrance porch, and carefully selected vegetation in the green space under the trees..
